Legal Administrator (1252)

The Real Estate teams and the Client Service Team (CST) are extremely busy with a wide range of property work for a range of household name clients offering the right candidate a fabulous opportunity to broaden their skills and experience.  The lawyers are acting on a variety of matters from development projects and acquisitions and disposals of investment property to telecoms and landlord and tenant asset and portfolio management instructions for public sector, institutional, and household name clients, the work is varied and challenging. CST are carrying out vital work and are supporting Real Estate by triaging instructions and managing the administration aspects of a number of these key contracts.  This is a full time role, and can be based out of either Bristol or Plymouth.

What will I be doing?

This interesting role will see you working on a broad range of matters, you'll be a key part of the Real Estate Team, dealing with a diverse range of matters. More specifically you'll play an essential part in ensuring that new files are opened correctly, adhering to both our internal processes and individual client requirements, in addition to producing initial correspondence whilst ensuring that all files are managed effectively and efficiently. Other duties would include but are not limited to, file maintenance, financial requests to include BACS, internal transfers, undertakings, requests for payments and escrow management, systems management, deeds management and ad hoc administration tasks. The work is fast-paced, and this role provides genuine scope to take on more complex responsibilities as you develop your knowledge and experience.  This is  a full time position.

What are we looking for?

You'll have a strong team ethic with excellent attention to detail, and your strong organisational skills will enable you to work to strict deadlines. Previous experience of working with client management, whilst advantageous, is by no means essential. What is essential are strong IT skills (including MS Word, Excel and Outlook) and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

To be successful in this role you'll need as a minimum:

  • Good written and oral communication skills, with a close attention to detail.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills, with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills (including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • The ability to work as part of a team, whilst be able to work individually using your own initiative to complete tasks.
