Marketing Executive (0375)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join us on a full time basis up until February 2023.

In terms of location, we have offices throughout the UK and can be flexible about where the role is based. However, our team is currently split across Bristol and Newcastle, so our preference would be for you to be based from one of these offices.

The Team

The Business Development team is embedded within the firm and works closely with our partners and fee-earners to engage our clients and differentiate ourselves in the competitive legal market.

The Marketing and Communications team is the largest in our wider Business Development team and is responsible for promoting a greater understanding of Womble Bond Dickinson's strengths and vision in the marketplace through communication channels. This includes marketing, PR, events, client communications, brand, design, website, digital, social media, sponsorship, thought leadership and national campaigns.

The Role

You will be providing broad marketing and communications support to the business on a day-to-day basis across a wide range of channels. You will work with the marketing and communications team, liaising directly with partners, lawyers and other key stakeholders across the business to ensure our marketing and communication activities are aligned to the firm's objectives, deliver a return on investment and are delivered in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:

  • Working with and supporting the Marketing and Events Manager to devise and implement integrated marketing campaigns with a keen focus on measurement and data
  • Leading on the drafting and implementation of regional marketing plans and management of associated budgets
  • Managing regional projects to enable digital and offline communications to the firm's core audiences
  • Producing and optimising content for wide range of marketing communications, both digitally and print
  • Being an ambassador for the firm's CRM system, and using it to monitor and track the return on investment from all marketing activity

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be an experienced generalist marketer, a confident project manager and be able to work to tight deadlines. It is therefore essential that you have a proven track record of delivering a wide range of marketing activity across multiple channels with a keen interest in digital marketing.

We are looking for a confident, highly organised, hardworking and articulate individual, who is not afraid to challenge the thinking of others and share their own ideas for improvement. An enthusiastic and positive attitude is essential.

Ideally, you will have a marketing background within a professional services environment.
