Real Estate Lawyer (1211)

We're continuing to grow our nationally recognised Real Estate practice, and our Leeds team are now looking for a talented senior lawyer to join us. With over 200 fee earners across 8 UK offices, we're a major force in the market—but it's our people, our insight, and our commercial approach that truly set us apart.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile clients including developers, asset managers, property companies, PLC occupiers, charities, and both public and private investors on their most high profile and significant transactions. You'll be involved in complex, high-value transactions across the full lifecycle of real estate investment and asset management, with the support of a dynamic and collaborative team.

What will I be doing?

In this role, you'll lead and manage complex real estate transactions, including multi-party and multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and disposals, while advising on landlord and tenant matters and portfolio management. You'll work closely with clients in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the team's strategic growth. Your client base will span key sectors such as retail, hospitality, leisure, and strategic land, offering a diverse and rewarding workload.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for a high-calibre real estate lawyer with at least 6 years' post-qualified experience as a Solicitor in England & Wales, a strong academic background and training from a top-tier firm. You'll bring proven expertise in real estate investment transactions, including complex acquisitions and disposals, and ideally have experience in landlord and tenant matters, portfolio or multi-party work.

To be successful this role you'll need as a minimum:

  • 6+ years PQE as a Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Strong academic background and top-tier firm training
  • Proven experience in real estate investment transactions
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior lawyers
  • Landlord and Tenant experience
